Celebrancy
A life and a story, honoured with care.
A future strand of my work, bringing together listening, writing, presence and a lifelong belief that every person deserves their moment.
A new chapter
Personal words for meaningful moments.
Celebrancy is a natural extension of the work I have spent years doing: understanding people, finding the heart of a story and sharing it with warmth and confidence.
I am developing this strand carefully. As it progresses, this page will grow to explain the ceremonies I can offer and the way we would work together.
The principle is already clear. Every ceremony should sound and feel personal. It should give space to laughter, reflection, emotion and the details that make a person or relationship unique.
Words in practice
Finding the detail that brings a person to life.

The Geography Lesson remembers my uncle Malcolm through one characteristic and affectionate story. It shows the warmth, reflection and gentle humour I bring when sharing a life in words.
Watch the eulogy
Remembering Malcolm with warmth, dignity and gentle humour.
Public remembrance
Holding a shared moment with care.
At CancerCare’s Light the Lawns in Lancaster, I gave a planned, unscripted introduction to an evening of reflection and remembrance. I explained how people would place lights in decorated jars across the lawns in memory of loved ones, and shared the person I was remembering too.
This developing strand draws on the warmth, empathy, listening and communication I have brought to personal and public moments throughout my working life.
Listen carefully.
Find the story. Honour the person.
